Ken Kavanagh, Florida Gulf Coast University's highly successful Athletic Director, will be our speaker at Country Club of Naples (185 Burning Tree Dr., Naples, FL 34105), on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 6pm.

Kavanagh has twice been named an Athletics Director of the Year by his peers, and under his guidance, in a relatively short span, FGCU has made 23 NCAA Tournament or Championship appearances for both men's and women's basketball, soccer, golf, tennis and swimming.  FGCU's strong women's basketball team established an NCAA Division I record for most 3-pointers made in a single game (22).  During 2012-13's March Madness, FGCU's men's basketball team ("Dunk City") became the ultimate Cinderella story by knocking off No. 2 seed Georgetown, earning the first ever trip to the Sweet 16 by a No. 15 seed.  This dinner event will provide a fascinating opportunity to hear Kavanagh's insights into building a flourishing athletic program.
